Fun Activity for Littles in 5th Grade
If you have a Little in 5th grade, here is a fun contest that you can do with your Little and they may even win prizes! This poster contest is open to any 5th grade student and this year’s theme is “Beat the Tricks”. NetSmartz, an internet safety program, teaches children how to learn and avoid lures that can be used by adults to harm children on and offline through this engaging video here. Children are encouraged to come up with a powerful poster that showcases how they “Beat the Tricks.” Instructions are attached and you can learn more here.
Prizes offered include:
First place winner: Laptop with accessories, Framed poster for school
Second place winner: Nintendo DS with age appropriate games
Third place winner: Portable DVD Player with two age appropriate movies
More info:
AGE: Open to all fifth graders
SIZE: Must be submitted on 11’’x17’’ paper
MEDIUM: Combination of mediums including, but not limited to, acrylics, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, magic markers, spray paint, crayons, and/or pastels
IDENTIFICATION: Must attach Poster Entry Form to the back of all entries
DEADLINE: October 17, 2014
