Bring Your Little to SPY FEST at the International Spy Museum!

The International Spy Museum has offered BBBS of the National Capital Area 100 tickets for SPY FEST that will be taking place on Friday, January 30th from 6-9pm.

This festival provides kids and parents a rare opportunity to get an inside glimpse into the secret world of espionage.  Through interactive, spy-related activities and booths, attendees will learn how to think like real secret agents as they assume new identities, decipher coded messages, analyze hand-written and satellite images and detect liars by polygraph — all directly from experts in the field.  And who knows, there just may be a spy or two in your midst…

Highlights include:

  • Disguise for Cover – Transform your appearances and assume a cover with help from professional, spy-caliber disguises and makeup artists.
  • Game of Drones – Meet local drone-makers and discover the art of surveillance from these “eyes in the sky.”
  • Questioned Documents – Learn how to analyze handwriting, signatures and find hidden marks on documents using evidence from real investigations with FBI forensic scientists.
  • Speaking in Code – Meet an FBI cryptoanalyst and try to crack her coded messages.
  • Spies and Lies – Can you beat the polygraph?
  • The Spy’s Eye View – Hear from former spy turned Spy Museum Executive Director Peter Earnest who offers an inside look into his life as an intelligence officer in the CIA’s Clandestine Service.
  • Ninjutsu demonstration – Martial artists roaming the museum’s galleries might take you by surprise.  Explore the traditional martial arts from Ninja also associated with espionage in Japan.

Ticket includes exclusive after-hours discussion, SPY snacks, scavenger hunt, prize competitions and more!

Meet and greet with our new CEO & President, Mr. Michael Sanzi.

Please RSVP to John Sanchez here by Friday, January 23rd at noon and include the full name of your little.
