Littles ages 13-19 encouraged to enter “Living the Example” Video Contest
The Mentor Foundation USA recently launched their 2nd national video contest, encouraging high school students (13 – 19 years old) to submit a video demonstrating how they are “Living the Example.”
What does “Living the Example” mean?
It means anything that represents their passion, hobbies, or activities that they enjoy and that they believe can be an example to their peers while promoting healthy, tobacco, and drug-free lifestyles.
What’s the competition prize?
This year, the grand prize winner will win a trip to Los Angeles, California and receive a tour of the YouTube Space in La Playa Vista. The second and third prize winners will win a tech prize package, including a Google Chromecast, Urban Ears headphones and Anker portable speakers.
What does the video need to incorporate?
The contestant needs to include their name, their age, hometown, what school they go to, and have to say “This is how I am living the example.” Click here to see an example of a video a student made in last year’s competition.
Where to submit?
The contestant should submit their video to the Living the Example Facebook Page by clicking here.
What is the deadline?
Contestants should submit their videos by October 21st, 2016. The voting will close at the end of November and Mentor Foundation USA will then announce the winner.
Let you Little know today to celebrate and showcase their successes and their dreams. Bigs and Littles with video editing experience are encouraged to participate in this contest.
