Sign up for Financial Literacy Workshop on November 5th

Do you think your Little needs to learn about saving money? Does your Little know how to apply for financial aid for college? Could your Little benefit from a lesson on personal finance?

JP Morgan Chase is hosting a Financial Literacy Workshop on Saturday, November 5th to discuss the necessary financial information that every adult needs to know and is inviting 25 matches to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity for your Little to get this necessary information and have the support of their Big who may have already had to deal with a lot of this in the real world.

The following topics will be discussed during the workshop:
-student loans and financial aid
-bank accounts and paychecks
-credit cards and credit scores
-auto loans and rent/mortgage
-mobile and online banking

The workshop will take place from 9:30 AM – 1 PM. Each session can take about 15-20 minutes, depending on the length of the questions and answer session. Lunch will be provided after the final session of the workshop.

The workshop will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G Street, NW).

Please contact Denise Williams here or at (301) 794-9170 ext. 17 by Friday, October 14th so we can provide an official headcount.
