Sean and I went to the Reston Petting Zoo (www.restonzoo.com). He loves animals and we had a great time. We pet all the animals and went on a hay ride they also have pony rides.

The Reston Zoo is a 30-acre animal park west of Tyson's Corner just off Route 7. The park houses baby animals in the main barn, where you can bottle-feed lambs and hand-feed goats, sheep and llamas. Other featured animals include a variety of deer, zebras, emus, ostriches, rheas, bison and donkeys. There's a nice selection of small mammals and birds, as well as a few alligators and black spider monkeys.

A hay ride is included in the price of admission and is the best way to see all the animals. Pony rides are also available for a fee.
